Proposals for workshops and tutorials will be fast-tracked for evaluation, to facilitate their organization. Thus, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">we welcome early submissions<\/span>. Submissions should be made via  <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=ht23\" target=\"_blank\">EasyChair<\/a> including the information specified below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The general call for paper is a this <a href=\"https:\/\/ht.acm.org\/ht2023\/calls\/call-for-papers\/\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Workshops<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops aim to create a more informal framework for an innovative exchange of views, exchange experiences, present ideas, promote the research community and identify open problems and\/or directions for future research. At the same time, they also provide a good opportunity for researchers and junior researchers to present their work and receive feedback from an interested community in an interactive and constructive atmosphere. Proposals are particularly appreciated on new topics related to the main topics of the conference, but may also include other (new) topics that may be of interest to the hypertext community. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">There are no limits to creativity<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acceptance of workshop proposals will be based on the experience and background of the organisers in the topic, and on the relevance of the subject matter with regard to the topics addressed in the main conference. We welcome proposals for different types of workshops, from working groups on a specific topic to more traditional conference-like workshops. We generally prefer \u201cinteractive\u201d workshops, which ensure a richer active interaction between the participants and offer plenty of space for controversial and stimulating discussions. Potential proposers are invited to discuss their ideas with the workshop chair before working out a detailed proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send your workshop proposals through <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=ht23\" target=\"_blank\">EasyChair<\/a> with the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Title of the workshop and suggested acronym<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keywords (describing the main themes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description of the workshop (topics and goals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevance of the workshop to the Hypertext communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop organisers\u2019 bios (1-2 paragraphs per organiser)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivation (why the topic is of interest for the conference audience)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop and submission formats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Length (half day or full day\u2014in this case, motivation for the need for a full day)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous editions of the workshop series, if applicable (URLs, conference it was co-located with, number of registrants, number of submissions, number of accepted papers, and any other relevant information)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any plan for further publication (e.g. special issue in journals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The initial list of (potential) members of the program committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for workshop submission is <strong>March 31st, 2023<\/strong>. In order to ease the workload of workshop organizers that are planning to prepare a separate call for papers, the main website and Easychair will be available to promote the call and the selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tutorials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Hypertext 2023 program, in addition, we cordially invite proposals for tutorials from active researchers and experienced tutors in academia, industry, and government agencies. We expressly invite students to present their work on the conference topics as a tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideally, a tutorial will cover state-of-the-art research and ideas, innovative developments, and novel applications in a specific aspect of hypertext and social media, but proposals are especially encouraged on emerging topics, related to the main conference themes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send your tutorial proposals on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=ht23\" target=\"_blank\">EasyChair<\/a> with the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Title of the tutorial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keywords (describing the main themes of the tutorial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description of the tutorial (topics and goals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenters&#8217; biographies (1-2 paragraphs per presenter)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Length of the tutorial (1.5 or 3 hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expected background and prerequisite of audience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevance of the tutorial to the Hypertext communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A list of references\/resources to be covered in the tutorial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous editions of the tutorial, if presenters have given similar tutorials elsewhere<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The accepted proposal presenters should provide comprehensive tutorial notes or slides to the tutorial audience free of charge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for tutorial submission is <strong>March 31st, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Track chair Dr Elisa Bastianello (Bibliotheca Hertziana, Italy) The deadline for both Workshops and Tutorials is March 31st, 2023.
