Positive Intelligent Media – PiM’24

The first edition of the Positive Intelligent Media (PiM) workshop takes an interdisciplinary perspective on interactive intelligent hypertext systems for health, well-being and resilience; bringing together scholars and practitioners from computer science, digital health, and health humanities communities to investigate a growing crucial application of hypertext systems in the field of formal and informal healthcare and the improvement of quality of life.

The PiM workshop looks at fundamental questions about how to incorporate a positive vision within interactive media and intelligent systems. It will provide the opportunity to develop a common agenda for this new field and define the research objectives and common challenges – including problem definitions and fundamental questions – around computational methods for steering positive use, evaluation methods, and applications of positive systems. It will also provide the opportunity to develop project proposals and ideas for collaborative research bids.
