Registration

ACM HT 2025 will be held as a hybrid event, with online participation available exclusively for presenters facing challenges with in-person attendance, such as travel restrictions or VISA issues. All paper sessions will be streamed, including the workshops, tutorials and presentations in the main conferences. The interactive sessions, such as posters, demos and exhibits, may not be streamed. For remote attendees, not only the online streaming is provided, but also the recorded videos will be shared with you and valid until December 31, 2025.

Important Information

Before you start your registration, please make sure you have the following information ready (if applicable):

Registration policy

  • Each presenting author must register for the conference by the early registration cut-off date in order for their accepted submission(s) to be included in the program.

  • If a presenter has multiple accepted submissions (including all submission types), a single registration will cover all of them.

  • A paper registration covers attendance, you do not need to register the conference again for in-person or virtual attendance.

  • Your registration is strictly personal and must not be transferred to another person. Refund of registration cost is not permitted.

  • The student rate is available only to those who have student status at the time of the conference. Students will be required to submit a proof of student status (a scanned copy in JPG/JPEG or PDF format of their student ID) during registration.

  • ACM Members will be requested to fill in their myACM login email on the registration form to prove their status, i.e., they are current ACM members.

  • Recordings of sessions, chats, questions and answers might be captured during the conference for later viewing. By registering for this event, you are granting permission to record your comments and questions during sessions.

Presentation policy

  • For workshops and tutorials, at least one organizer is required to attend in person to facilitate the event.

  • All tutorial presenters must register the conference with at least one paper registration rate.

  • There is no “workshops/tutorials” only day. Workshop and tutorial presentations will be distributed to the morning sessions. Other presentations will be allocated to afternoon sessions during Aug 15-17 and the full-day sessions on Aug 18.

  • If you opt for a virtual presentation, you will be asked to record and upload a video in advance, to be used in case the live remote presentation is disrupted (e.g., due to internet connectivity issues).

  • For poster presenters, the poster size is 24 inches (width) by 36 inches (height). You can pay a poster printing fee in the registration system to have your poster printed in Chicago. You can pick up the poster from the registration desk at the ACM HT 2025 conference.

  • In-person attendees can enjoy paper presentations, coffee breaks, lunch and a banquet.

  • Individuals with accessibility needs are requested to register by the early registration deadline, to allow sufficient time for necessary preparations.

  • International Tax Terms and conditions (T&C): if the registration fee is subject to international tax (VAT), a VAT invoice will be issued after the conclusion of the conference. This only applies to eligible participants based on their location or the location of the conference and applicable international tax laws. The VAT invoice will be emailed to the provided email address following the completion of the event. Please ensure your details are accurate at the time of registration to avoid any delays. If you have any questions regarding the eligibility of your registration fee for VAT, please contact your ACM liaison.

  • Grant support is provided for students and early-career researchers, while students have the top priority to get funding allocations. The grant application deadline is July 29, https://ht.acm.org/ht2025/grants-and-support/

Please follow the instructions in URL https://cvent.me/gyLwlG to register for the conference.
