Things to Do in Chicago

Chicago is the 3rd largest city in the U.S. and is known for its architecture, beaches, public art, vibrant music scene, amazing cuisine, and wonderful museums. You should find many opportunities to enjoy beyond the conference. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Visit one of the many Art, Science, and Technology Museums in Chicago including the Art Institute of Chicago, Design Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium.

2. Visit landmarks in Chicago, such as Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Buckingham Fountain, Skydeck at Willis Tower, Lincoln Park Zoo (free admissions!), Chicago Botanic Garden, Garfield Park Conservatory, etc.

3. Have a Chicago Riverwalk or take a Chicago River Cruise to see the Chicago architecture along the river!
4. Shop the Magnificent Mile.
5. See an amazing show: Second City, Broadway Shows.

6. Attend a Cub’s baseball game.
7. Eat and drink at any of the amazing restaurants, cafes, and bars throughout the city. Definitely try a Chicago-style hot dog, deep dish pizza, italian beef, and a steak.

8. Check out more local events in September!
