Venue Information
Conference Venue: Hermann Hall Conference Center

Hermann Hall is a conference center at Illinois Institute of Technology, and it is located at 3241 S Federal St, Chicago, IL 60616. The Hermann Hall Conference Center was designed in 1962 by Walter Netsch for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, echoes Galvin Library with its glass curtain wall and internally supported huge plate girders spanning the roof. The heavy pebble aggregate reinforced concrete support columns inside suggest something of the scale of the clear spans.

McCormick Auditorium, which seats 836 people and is IIT’s largest auditorium, is cradled between these columns. In addition to the Auditorium room, there are two big meeting rooms, where each room is featured with at least 200 seats. Moreover, there are a few of smaller rooms which can be utilized for multipurposes, such as workshops and tutorials, or classroom spaces, and so forth.
